FAQ
Questions people ask before they get in touch
If your question is not here, put it in the form above — we answer everything, including the awkward budget ones.
Every enquiry sent through this page reaches our team inbox immediately and is answered within 24 hours, Monday to Saturday, 8am to 6pm East Africa Time. If your event is inside 48 hours, call +254 718 286 302 rather than emailing — we hold a small amount of inventory back for short-notice work in Nairobi.
The five things that move a sound quote most are the date, the venue, the expected head count, whether it is indoors or outdoors, and your running times. Tell us those and we can price it properly the first time. If you already have a backline or technical rider, attach the list — we will match it item for item and flag anything we would substitute.
Yes. Nairobi is our base and most of our work happens in and around the city, but we regularly travel countrywide — Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru, Naivasha and Eldoret — and we take on regional productions across East Africa. Transport, crew accommodation and per diems are quoted as a separate line so you can see exactly what the distance costs.
You are welcome to. We run inspections and demo sessions at our Nairobi store by appointment, which is the fastest way to settle a specification for a large concert or a corporate launch. Ask for a store visit in your message and we will offer you times.
Often, yes, depending on what is already out on hire that weekend. Call rather than email for anything urgent — the phone is the only channel we can answer in minutes. For festival season and December, book several weeks ahead: that is when our large sound systems and backline go out first.
