Technical Support for Events

Experienced technicians on site or on standby, so a fault becomes a thirty-second fix rather than a stopped event.

Overview

Event AV technicians and crew hire in Nairobi

Event technical support is the hire of experienced AV crew rather than equipment: technicians who test the system before doors, handle presenters and fix faults during the event. Backline Concepts supplies technicians in Nairobi for full events, single high-risk sessions or standby cover, and works with your own equipment as readily as ours.

Equipment fails. Cables get stepped on, a presenter arrives with a laptop nobody has seen, a radio channel picks up interference from a venue next door. What separates a smooth event from a memorable disaster is having someone in the room who has met that problem before and fixed it quietly.

Our technicians work across audio, video and stage systems and can support your own equipment as readily as ours. Book crew for the full production, for the high-risk hours around a keynote, or as standby cover for an in-house team that needs depth.

Questions

Event technical support FAQs

Yes. Many clients hold their own systems and hire us for the expertise. We test your equipment in advance and flag anything that needs replacing before it becomes an event-day problem.

Yes. Half-day and session-based bookings are common, often around a keynote or an awards segment. We will advise honestly if the risk sits outside the hours you have chosen.

Where crew are free we can often cover a same-week request in Nairobi, and sometimes same day. Call us rather than email if the event is imminent.

Our crew work regularly in Nairobi hotels, conference centres and churches, so load-in routes, power and rigging rules are usually already familiar.
